SeaWorld Orlando has brought back its Seven Seas Food Festival for a third year, offering more delicious food markets than ever before! It runs Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through May 5th, so there’s still plenty of time to enjoy it if you’re headed down to Orlando for spring break.
Experience the Seven Seas Food Festival
SeaWorld has long been one of Florida’s favorite destinations to experience marine life up-close and personal. The Seven Seas Food Festival is a great way to dine, wine, ride, and catch live music. It’s a fun-filled experience with a diverse concert lineup and plenty of international foods and craft beers.
Here’s a look at some of the highlights on tap at this year’s festival.
“Fine by Me” is one of Andy Grammer’s biggest hits and you can hear it performed live on April 14th. Other acts include Collective Soul and Tenth Avenue North on April 20th and 21st and Post Modern Jukebox and Willie Colon on April 27th and 28th. The festival closes with what is sure to be standout performances from major recording artists Macy Gray and Earth, Wind & Fire on May 4th and 5th.
A great selection, nice portion sizes, and reasonable prices make the Seven Seas Food Festival a terrific foodie event. Have you ever tried cinnamon slow roasted pork belly or Hawaiian pineapple dream cake? You can savor both unique dishes and much much more as you stroll through the park’s many culinary markets.
There’s plenty for the kids to enjoy, especially at the all-American market where they can enjoy interesting offerings like the bacon hot dog slider. To satisfy their sweet tooth, let them dig into a caramel popcorn top dessert from the Asian market. A great way to fill their tummies while expanding their horizons and learning about different cultures’ foods.
Harley-Davidson Orlando is back as one of the event’s sponsors and they’re bringing with them some pretty cool motorcycles. They’re positioned throughout the festival area offering great photo opps!
Navigating the Seven Seas Food Festival
The Seven Seas Food Festival is a well-organized event, with booths numbered and clearly marked in the event guide you can pick up as you head in. There are special offers like the food and beverage sampler badge which lets you try smaller versions of most food dishes and beverages. While the concerts are first-come, first-seated, you can also reserve in advance for a fee. Finally, as you wine and dine your way through the festival, don’t forget to stop by the animal habitats and enjoy the dolphins, manatees, and more.
