Learn more about the fabulous options for dining at Disney.
Going on vacation gives you an opportunity to visit places you’ve never been. You may return to an old favorite that you just can’t get enough of. When booking a trip to Disney World, you’re probably imagining all of the great rides and events that you’ll be able to enjoy. However, you should also consider the multiple options for dining at Disney.
Which restaurants should you visit while on your Disney VIP tour if you’ve never been to the park or want to try something new?
Chef Mickey’s
If you’re like most people, you will find that dining at Disney might not be complete without setting foot in Chef Disney’s restaurant at some point. Located in the Contemporary Resort, this buffet style eatery offers the perfect combination of delicious food and kid-oriented fun, which includes watching some of your favorite Disney characters like Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald, and Goofy dancing to music and signing autographs.
The Hollywood Brown Derby
Dining at Disney doesn’t limit you to only the Disney World restaurants. Since Universal Studios is one of the four primary theme parks, then there’s a good chance you’ll be visiting there, as well. If you go, stepping back into the 1950s to partake in delicious food at the classic Hollywood Brown Derby is the perfect way to celebrate both Old Hollywood and modern cinema while filling up with tasty delights.
Cinderella’s Royal Table
Of all the dining at Disney experiences, this one might be the best of all. Taking place in the iconic Cinderella Castle located at Magic Kingdom, you’ll immediately be presented with a photo opportunity with Cinderella herself, escorted upstairs to the castle dining room, and presented with a magic wand or sword for each child. Of course, you’ll experience table visits by other Disney princesses such as Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel, and Jasmine. Oh, and did we mention that the dinner includes selections like pan-seared chicken, braised pork shank, and amaretto cheesecake?
T-REX
No matter how many years pass, dinosaurs simply never go out of style – and that includes when you’re dining at Disney. Designed by the same creators of the Rainforest Cafe, this T-Rex Cafe is absolutely a sight to behold and one of the best choices for dining at Disney, especially for kids. There are multiple rooms, each with its own unique design, including an ice age room and one where you can experience a fantastically beautiful meteor shower while you dine on a delicious meal.
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater
If you’re a fan of science fiction, then dining at Disney offers a wonderful opportunity at the Sci-Fi Dine-In theater, which is located in the Hollywood Studios section of the park. While you chow down on a variety of delicious culinary choices, you’ll be seated at a table shaped like a 1950s automobile as you’re presented with old movies on a screen in front of you. The food is quite tasty and fits a low-budget, too. What more could you ask for?
