Why you should get a Disney Park bag on your Disney World vacation.

Visiting Disney World is a wonderful adventure from beginning to end. Throughout the day, you’ll enjoy fantastic characters, exciting rides, and a variety of attractions and events that will always keep you engaged.

Keep in mind, however, that it’s also going to be a long day with a whole lot of walking. That’s why you always want to be prepared by bringing along your own Disney park bag.

Here’s what we suggest you put inside your Disney Park bags:

Portable Phone Charger

Most people understand the importance of keeping their cell phones charged for the sake of safety. This is especially true if you have a large group with you or children who may run the battery down while standing in line for various rides. You should at least have one portable phone charger, but depending on the size of your group, you may want to bring along two or three of them.

A Few Different Types of Snacks

Disney World has no problem with visitors having outside snacks, so why not bring several types along? Disney bags that include snacks like potato chips and pretzels will come in very handy as you’re going from one attraction to another. Not only will you save time since you won’t have to stop so often, but this is also a great way to maintain your food budget.

Sunscreen Lotion or Spray

Since we’ll soon be heading into the warmest months of the year, it’s important to always be aware of the glorious Florida sun. It doesn’t take long to start burning, especially those with fair skin. Be sure that you carry sunscreen lotion or spray inside your bag at all times and apply some periodically throughout the day.

Items to Help Stay Cool

Between the warm Florida weather and walking around all day, some people in your party are likely to get a little hot from time to time. If you think this might be a problem, depending on the weather report for the day and the preferences of people with you, it’s a good idea to pack a few fans and maybe even a couple of portable misters.

Sealable Plastic Bags

Disney VIP tour guides are big fans of bringing along sealable plastic bags that you can use throughout the day. Dividing items up in separate bags is a great way to keep everything organized. Plus, they come in handy on attractions like Splash Mountain where you might end up getting a little wet and will want to keep your valuables safe and secure.

Full-Sized Microfiber Towel

Having a towel nearby can be a lifesaver in the event that you spill something while having lunch or walking around the park and don’t have any napkins nearby. Another great use of a microfiber towel is on Splash Mountain because the seat you take is often wet. To keep your pants or shorts dry, you can use the towel to wipe up the water and then stick the towel in one of your sealable plastic bags.

Variety of Sundries

Sundries such as tissues, wet wipes, and hand sanitizers can be found in multiple locations throughout Disney World, but it’s always more convenient and less expensive to pack them into a Disney park bag beforehand. You may also want to bring along a small first aid kit, headache medicine, and anything else that you think might come in handy. If you forget anything or run out, though, these items will be easy to find throughout the day.
