What are some of the most popular Disney World souvenirs visitors like to take home with them?

Although you may have been forced to delay your vacation plans this year, you’ll be hitting the road or taking to the skies and heading to Orlando before you know it. Where else will your family want to go but the friendliest place on Earth, aka Disney World?

Given the events of 2020, there’s a good chance you’ll want to get the most you can out of your visit to the park and picking up some Disney World souvenirs is the perfect way to do that. Let’s look at a few of the most popular souvenirs you can take home with you.

Mickey Mouse Ears

Any list of the best Disney souvenirs is going to include the famous Mickey ears! Dating back to the Mickey Mouse Club TV show in 1955, this simple design has become a staple of the park. In fact, many attendees get a new set of ears with either every visit or at least once per year. Kids absolutely love them, and adults often wear them, too!

Disney T-Shirts

If there’s one type of Disney merchandise that you’ll see throughout your visit (in addition to the Mickey ears, of course), it’s Disney t-shirts. There are a nearly endless number of designs available featuring your favorite Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and other related characters. They come in a variety of sizes to fit every man, woman, and child who wants to show their love of Disney and take a little bit of the park home with them.

Autograph Books

Adults understand that the characters that are spotted around the park are actors in disguise, so even though pictures with them are awesome, you might not get a big kick out of having them autograph a book. Your kids, on the other hand, will love this activity. You can even make a little game out of it to see how many they can collect by the end of the day. If it doesn’t take away from rides or other attractions, of course.

Epcot Passport Kit

If you want your kids to have fun while learning about several different countries spotted around the globe, then you went to pick up an Epcot Passport Kit. There are a total of 11 World Showcase countries that your children can explore, and the kit includes a Mickey Mouse button, blank passport, and stamps for each of those countries. As they make their way from country to country, they can document their “travels” and learn various details about each nation.

One of the most unique Disney World souvenirs, Pick-a-Pearl is exactly how it sounds. It starts with a large tank full of oysters. You choose the one you want and then a Disney Cast Member removes it from the tank and cut it open to reveal your pearl. The pearl is then cleaned up and handed over to you. If you wish, you can also purchase a piece of jewelry to have it set into.

Various Toys and Games

There are so many types of toys and games featuring your favorite Disney characters that it would be impossible to list them all. You can find Disney merchandise such as Monopoly sets, Star Wars action figures, Pixar stuffed toys, and so much more. Your child can also build his or her own Mr. Potato Head! A box full of parts is available for a nominal amount, which will allow your kids to design multiple looks and styles.
