What to do on a Disney World Spring Break!

Orlando and other parts of Florida are certainly known as a prime hotspot for Spring Break activities. During this time, you can’t visit a beach without seeing tons of people having fun in the sun with their family and friends.

Disney World Spring Break adventures are also a popular excursion and there is absolutely no age limit involved. If you’ve been thinking about gathering up your closest loved ones and heading out to this incredible theme park, we certainly don’t blame you. To help you get the most out of it, here are some quick Disney World spring break tips:

Plan Your Day in Advance

Your Disney vacation plans should begin as soon as you make the decision to go. Talk with your family or friends and decide on which attractions you would most like to see, where you’d like to eat, and any other pertinent details that will streamline your trip make it spectacular. A basic itinerary will help you get started once you arrive at the park and throughout the day. However, leave plenty of room to be flexible, too.

Make FastPass+ Choices Early

Once you’ve purchased your tickets to Disney World, you are given three FastPasses that allow you to skip to the front of the line of various attractions. Since some of these attractions fill up quickly, it’s best to make your choices as soon as you can. Choices can be made up to 30 days in advance, which increases to 60 days if you’re staying at a Disney resort hotel. Also, keep in mind that once you’ve used up your allotment, you can get additional FastPasses at the park one at a time.

Download the Disney App

Everyone who partakes in a Disney World Spring Break vacation should download the My Disney Experience app to their phone or tablet. This app will provide you with a full map of the park, show you various dining experiences and allow you to program your FastPasses right away. Once you’re at the park, you can use it to track the wait times for each attraction.

Book a Hotel Right Away for a Disney World Spring Break

Disney resort hotels are extremely popular and some of them will fill up during Spring Break quite quickly. Several hotels have amenities such as themed rooms, water slides, character breakfasts, and more. If you have your heart set on a particular hotel, book it right away. The good news, however, is that there are so many fantastic resort hotels to choose from, that you absolutely can’t go wrong with any of them.

Skip Plans for a Big Breakfast

Breakfast may be the most important meal of the day but be aware that it could definitely impede your Disney spring break plans a bit. You want to arrive at the park as early as possible, preferably at least 30 minutes before the gates open, and sitting down for a big breakfast may not work very well. If possible, plan by grabbing a breakfast that you can eat on the way or after arriving at the gates.
