The first drop takes riders up to 60 feet above ground level before they fall into a tunnel, where they will be pushed through by water jets. After this, riders go down another drop that takes them even deeper into the tunnel until they reach its end at 50 feet below ground level.
Teamboat Springs
The Teamboat Springs area is where you’ll find most of the water slides at Blizzard Beach, but there’s also much more to enjoy here than just sliding down a tube. There are pools that kids can splash around in. Visit the lazy river that will take you back up to the front of the park after you’ve gotten wet. If you want something more relaxing, this is one of the best places in Blizzard Beach.
Magic Kingdom
If you want to visit both water parks and still have time for other attractions at Walt Disney World, we suggest visiting Blizzard Beach first in the morning and then going to Magic Kingdom in the afternoon or early evening.
This way, you can enjoy the best parts of both parks without choosing one over another. Plus, this strategy gives you more time for rides at Magic Kingdom because there are fewer crowds during off-peak hours (compared to when everyone heads there at midday).
Polar Pub
The Polar Pub is a great place to grab a quick bite and something cold to drink. It offers indoor and outdoor seating, as well as some TVs so you can watch sporting events while you eat.
The menu features items like burgers, hot dogs, and sandwiches, but plenty of salads and healthier options exist. If you’re looking for something sweet, there are plenty of desserts, too, including several milkshakes that come in different sizes (and flavors).
Wave Pool

If you want to get wet without getting slammed around by waves, there are also “calm” areas where you can sit on a tube while floating around in waist-deep water. This is a great place to bring kids who aren’t comfortable going into deeper water or who have never been swimming.

Hollywood Studios is one of four major theme parks at Disney World, and it’s also home to one of the most popular rides at Blizzard Beach—the “Snuggly Duckling.”
Runoff Rapids
As the name suggests, this attraction is a river rapids ride. It’s a large body of water that you can go into. You have to wear a life vest when you get on this ride so that you don’t drown or get hurt in any way.
Depending on how many people are riding together, there are many different types of rafts to choose from. If you have more than two people per raft, then the waves will be smaller and less powerful. However, if you have one person in each raft, then the waves will be much larger and faster. This is one of our favorite rides at Blizzard Beach because it has such a fun atmosphere with tons of kids and families.
Warming Hut
Warming huts are a mainstay at Blizzard Beach, and they’re a great place to stop for a bite to eat or just to get out of the sun for a bit.
The huts are scattered throughout the park, and there are plenty in each area of the park. They have plenty of seating inside and out, so you can grab a snack or lunch (or just rest your feet) while you enjoy views of Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach.
Melt Away Bay
This area is great for people who can’t wait for summer to come back around because it’s filled with slides that get you wet—and we mean really wet.
Downhill Double Dipper
This is a water coaster that will take you on a thrilling ride through the park, as well as through some of the rides and attractions. The ride has been described as one of the best in all of Disney World, and it’s not hard to understand why when you get to experience the tallest and fastest free fall.
